Sitting Up

Here is a darling picture of Sampson with his surrogate grandmother, Grandma Gail. Gail (and Papa Reid) watched Sampson for a few hours everyday for the month of January. She just has a way with babies! It's so nice to see that Sammy is happy to her and Reid everyday. It makes giving him up for a few hours much easier. No one can get Sammy to nap like Grandma Gail. Gail has several grandchildren of her own scattered up and down the east coast, and we are so fortunate to have her as part of Sampson's life.

Sampson is growing so quickly! He is 5 months old now and accomplishing new tasks everyday. Little Jack is six months old now and make lots of progress too! He is so fair with his bright blue eyes and red hair, he is the exact opposite of Sampson.

Jack is now eating solids and sitting up! He sits in his new highchair and eats cereal like a pro. This is Jack sitting up for the first time.

Sampson don't quite have the hang of it yet... but he's getting there! We called him the "Leaning Tower of Sampson." This photo was actually take last week and he has improved so quickly in the last few days. He can now sit up for several minutes by himself and topples over gently when he loses his balance. It doesn't seem to bother him though, he just sticks his little head up a smiles.
